(4) Technical Requirements For Registration As A User Of Customs Border Control System

I/we confirm that the personal computers (PCs) that I use with Customs Border Control System comply with following minimum specifications: (please indicate "Yes" by ticking the box or "No" by leaving the box unticked.)

Process speed of at least 1.8 Ghz RAM of at least 2 GB Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 operation system Scanner, Printer (laser or ink-jet) Java 1.6 Runtime Environment installed (JRE 1.6) Internet Connection with bandwidth of at least 1 Mbps I/we also confirm that we have in our staff or we can call upon:

A qualified IT person to deal with any Customs Border Control System installation or patch

(5) General Conditions Under Which Registration Will Be Granted

The applicant agrees to notify by email the Comptroller of Customs & Excise within 24 hours of any changes in the following situations:

• You no longer meet licensing or operating conditions as Customs Agent, warehouse operator, DTI centre.
• You cease to employ all or any individual registered users nominated in this application form.
• You change the address of your company or individual users.
• You change the name of your company or individual users.
• You cease to conduct business with Customs.
• You or any of your individual registered users are or become bankrupt.
• You or any of your individual registered users are conviced of any offence punishable under the Customs, Taxation or criminal legislation.

(6) SPECIFIC CONDITIONS IN RESPECT OF THE SECURITY OF Customs Border Control System

If approved as a registered user of Customs Border Control System, the applicant and any other individual applicant listed in this application, agrees to:

• Not to provide copies of any Customs Border Control System software given for your use by Customs to any third parties, whether registered or not;
• Keep secure, and not disclose to another person the unique user identifier allocated to you;
• Only use the unique user identifier to access data in the system that is available to all registered users or is data input or pertains only to your transmissions;
• Notify immediately the Customs Department if you suspect that the security of your unique Identifier has in any way been compromised;
• Notify the Customs Department if you gain access or otherwise receive data that does not pertain to your lawful access to the system;
• Not to falsify, damage or impair any record or information stored in the system or to damage or impair any duplicate tape or disc or other medium stored in the system;
• Comply with any further conditions imposed by the Comptroller of Customs and Excise in relation to the security of a unique identifier allocated to you or persons listed in this application or to any other
matters related to the access to and use of the Customs Customs Border Control System system.
• Request for password reset will be done using registered email account or in person using proper ID.
